  • Chief Financial Officer

    Job Summary

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including budgeting and forecasting.

    Risk Management: Analyze the organization's liabilities and investments to manage financial risks.

    Investment Strategy: Decide on investment strategies considering cash flow and liquidity risks.

    Fundraising: Control and evaluate fundraising plans and capital structure.

    Cash Flow Management: Ensure appropriate cash flow for the organization's operations.

    Supervision: Oversee finance personnel, including controllers and treasurers.

    Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and external partners.

    Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial laws and company policies.

    Reporting: Prepare and oversee financial reports and forecasts.

    Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting teams.

    Skills Requirement

      Qualifications:

      Experience: Proven experience as a CFO, finance officer, or in a relevant role.

      Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

      Skills: Excellent data analysis, forecasting, and financial management skills.

      Software Proficiency: Proficient in financial management software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office.

      Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

      Analytical Mind: Comfortable with numbers and strategic problem-solving.

  • Project Manager (Based in India)

    Job Summary

    A Carbon Credits Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects that generate carbon credits. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

    Responsibilities:

    Project Development: Identify and develop new carbon credit projects, such as reforestation, renewable energy, or methane capture initiatives.

    Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance on project design, feasibility assessments, and project validation.

    Verification and Monitoring: Oversee the verification and ongoing monitoring of carbon credit projects to ensure compliance with certification standards.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with partners, funders, and other stakeholders involved in carbon credit projects.

    Market Analysis: Stay updated on global developments in carbon initiatives and payment for ecosystem services (PES) fields.

    Communication: Promote the organization's carbon work to a diverse audience, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic development of the organization's carbon program and identify new opportunities for growth.

    Skills Requirement

      Qualifications:

      Education: A degree or higher degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, forestry, or project management.

      Experience: At least 5 years of experience in carbon project development and management, including knowledge of internationally recognized carbon certification processes.

      Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) and afforestation/reforestation projects.

      Analytical Skills: Proficiency in applying calculation methodologies and estimating carbon offsets generated by land-based projects.

      Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage projects and engage with stakeholders effectively.

We are here to prove that carbon credits if done rightly can be one of the mechanism to reduce carbon emissions and is not greenwashing. We do this by making sure all our projects mitigate both system level and credit level risk associated with greenwashing claims. We do this by developing leading standards and best practices across different regulatory bodies when it comes to developing reforestation projects that delivers high quality carbon credits.
